This Instant Pot Angel Chicken Pasta is a family favorite recipe here at our house! I think pasta is one of my favorite comfort foods, so pair this dish with a side salad and my meal is complete!
This recipe also pairs as a perfect freezer dump meal that I can pop in my Instant Pot…this Instant Pot Angel Chicken Pasta recipe is also a crowd pleaser, which I love!
How to Make Instant Pot Angel Chicken Pasta
Here’s how to make this Instant Pot Angel Chicken Pasta
Step 1 – Place chicken breasts, butter, Italian dressing mix, broth, mushroom soup and cream cheese in Instant Pot.
Step 2 – Use the meat setting and pressure for 40 minutes. I like my chicken to fall apart, so I tend to cook my meat a bit longer than the Instant Pot setting sets for.
Step 3 – Boil angel hair pasta, prep your side dish and once your Instant Pot Angel Chicken is finished you are ready to serve! Garnish with green onions, if you wish!
As I mentioned earlier, you can pair this with a side salad or a side veggie such as green beans.

Unfortunately I got a “burn” error when I did this… any idea why? This has always been a slow cooker favorite in my family and I’d love to be able to convert it to pressure cooking. Thanks!
Sixth-Bloom says
Rachel! Usually from my knowledge when you get a burn error you don’t have enough liquid in the Instant Pot – try adding some chicken broth or liquid to it and see if you can get past that “burn” error. Let me know!

40 mins sounds extremely long! But, I’ve never used the meat setting instead of just the “High” setting. Going to try 32 mins for starters 🙂

I have a similar “oven-bake” Angel Chicken Pasta recipe but the ingredients are double with the exception of the chicken remaining as 6 boneless, skinless halves and only 1 lb of pasta. Would the same instructions above apply? Additionally, my Instant Pot has “Meats/Stews” which I assume is the same setting as mentioned in your recipe instructions.

You NEVER replied to my comment 10/10/20…………rather disappointing.
