Quiche.
In my mind a fancy word for something that looked yummy that I had never really tired…besides at a restaurant a time or two.
Something I thought was too hard to make – only by the sound and look of the word.
Silly me, I know.
A few months back a friend and I decided we’d get together and do meal prep for freezer meals.
We simply….
1- Made our list of meal ideas – got creative and tried for all of the meals to not be the same taste/flavors.
2- Prepped an ingredient list – this can take some work but planning is the key to making freezer meal planning a success.
As with anything there is clean up involved, so don’t forget to add that to your list…sometimes clean up can be hard and need some extra elbow grease but let me help you make it easier by adding these to your Walmart list when you pick up ingredients!

- Scotch-Brite® Heavy Duty Scrub Dots Sponge

3- Came back together a week or two later to show off our skills in the kitchen and make it happen.
In a mere 5-6 hours (with a baby and a toddler at our feet) we both had about 20 meals to stick in our freezer for the coming month/s. It was a lot of work piled up in one day but man has it been worth it in the end!
TIP: We’re already planning another round because it’s more fun being in the kitchen all day with a friend rather than alone.
When making our meals list my friend suggested Ham & Egg Quiche…I was of course game so that I could try it and see how easy it is to make…she promised me it was yummy. This freezer meal did not disappoint and my whole family loves it! It’s better fresh but it was a perfect freezer meal to change things up in our supper time game!
So what has become a new favorite in our meal rotation has been the Ham & Cheese Quiche…from dad to the little! It’s been a hit, easy for mom and a great comfort food type meal on a cool rainy evening.
