This Instant Pot Hummus Dip is addicting!  I love it because I can pull it out as a quick and healthy snack or pair it with a lunch or even put it in a pita with veggies for lunch.  Any easy Instant Pot recipe is my jam.

If you are looking for something to keep on hand during the week for a quick snack, a pairing for a lunch or just because then this Instant Pot Hummus Dip will be a keeper for you.

How to Make Instant Pot Hummus Dip

What you need:

  • 1 1/2 cups of dried garbanzo beans
  • 3 cups of water
  • 3 cloves of fresh garlic
  • 1/4 cup of Tahini
  • Juice of 1 fresh lemon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp onion powder

Here’s how to make this Instant Pot Hummus Dip

Step 1 – 

Add dried garbanzo beans to your Instant Pot and cover with water (approx 2 1/2 – 3 cups of water)

Step 2 –

Manually set your Instant Pot to manual and increase the time to 55 minutes.

Step 3 –

Once the Instant Pot is complete, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes.

Step 4- 

Add the cooked garbanzo beans (and I included the extra water from the cooked beans), garlic, lemon, tahini, salt, and onion powder in a food processor and pulse to combine.  Add additional liquid if necessary.

Feel free to add additional garlic/onion/salt for your own personal taste!

Your Instant Pot Hummus Dip is ready to serve!  I usually serve with what I have on hand…i.e. pita chips, crackers, any kind of veggies or even on bread.
