Things to do In Gulfport Mississippi
1:Pops Brothers- Our top spot to hit overtime is Pops Brothers- head into this unique and tiny little spot for an awesome cool treat made with all natural products and such a better for you choice when it comes to a sweet treat! We tried several and our all time favorite is the coconut…and they dipped in dark chocolate for me…I about died and went to heaven on that one!
2: Splash Pad- the perfect spot for a hot day!
3: Beach- Pick a spot and let the kids roam and explore! On a pretty day you’ll have some seagulls visit you as well.
4: Lynn Meadows Discovery Center- plan to spend a better part of the day letting your kids explore, learn and adventure. This is one of our favorite Children’s Museums and if you time it just right, it’s not busy!!
5: Harbor/Marina- take some time to walk along the piers and enjoy the beautiful boats! This is one of our favorite things to do because it’s unique and every boat has it’s very own “personality”!
Pack a picnic lunch to any of these three spots and enjoy the day!!!
If you are visiting during the Christmas season be sure to head towards the harbor and enjoy the lights, it’s a fascinating show and a wonderful one to bundle up, grab some hot chocolate and walk around as a family. We went with friends this past season and had a blast!
