Mom Approved Alphabet Books for Preschoolers – while learning the alphabet be sure to snag these books to read to preschoolers.  Pair the books with an alphabet craft for preschoolers for added fun.

While I’m homeschooling my little preschooler she loves to read.  When I say loves to read…she loves to read…and she loves books.  She takes after her daddy, that’s for sure…but I still want to cultivate and encourage this – after all it’s every moms dream, right?Alphabet Books for Preschoolers

When we started this school year I wanted to add regular library trips to our homeschool routine.  As I was talking to a friend who also home schools her three girls we were talking about this subject of going to the library etc.  She had THE BEST advice for me and I’m sharing it with you.  Pick a book theme to your library visits – so every two weeks (that’s our library book cycle) your books all have the same theme.

Ah, Brilliant!

but…

hang on…the next BEST piece of advice…

She said to hop online and checkout the books ahead of time so when you walk into the library all of these themed books are waiting on you…you aren’t digging through rows and rows of what you hope are good books…

then…

as she stated the kids always want to pick a pink book….a weird book…or a book about who knows what!  Let them do that with two books but then the rest of your books are themed!

So guess what…I’m on it!

This two week cycle we are all about Alphabet Books – ABC’s are such a huge part of preschool – learning sounds, vowels, recognizing letters etc.  It’s so fun as we are reading she’ll say – ” oh that’s a vowel” or “oh that’s a p and p says p-p-p-p” – happy mama moment for sure! Not to mention in our weekly Preschool STEAM activities we are focusing on the alphabet as well.

Here are the BEST books I could find after much digging and researching so I’m saving you a ton of time and passing on my list to you!preschool ABC books

We are a husband and wife team, pairing our strengths together to teach our preschooler in the most fun and engaging way we possibly can.  The mister is a high school educator at Northlake Christian school in Covington Louisiana and over the Innovation Center, which is all things STEAM.  I am a SAHM that blogs pretty much everything we do in our little paradise, from what we eat, to where we travel to how we teach our little one.  We hope you are inspired to incorporate STEAM into learning with your children.
