It’s spring here in South Mississippi…one of my favorite seasons here, well besides the pollen/allergies! At the same times this means we are outside a lot around our house and cleaning up/tidying up to make our home look fresh and neat… thanks to Roundup® For Lawns in sponsoring this post and helping us make our space beautiful!
We love being outside and so does our little one…Our outside area is just an extension of our home. We enjoy eating outside on our porch when the weather is pretty; we enjoy our little fire pit in the evenings when it’s cool. We like to have friends and family over that can enjoy our outdoor space as well. We like to have it as part of our family and home where all are welcome.
Right now, living in our cottage, while we are building our new “big house” (as we call it). The outdoor space we have is always welcomed space for entertaining as well as our family activities. Between our garden and our little grass area we are prepping for the spring and summer time. The mister is using the Roundup® For Lawns – from the Roundup brand which has been around for over 40 years and is the #1 weed killing brand- for our green space to kill those weeds, so it’s looking nice for the coming months! Roundup for Lawns has a southern formula for us to use on our grass as it’s formulated for our specific grass needs.
We (adults) are tackling the weed killing, so that in a few weeks our yard is ready for the kids. After we give Roundup for Lawns time to do it job, we have plenty of activities planned.
A few activities that are our favorites with our little one while playing outside:
- Blowing Bubbles
- Playing with her Balls
- Riding her little Toys or for her pushing her toys with wheels
- Eating popsicles
- Playing in the Sprinkler
- Filling up a baby pool and splashing
- Painting Rocks or doing any crafts
- Sidewalk Chalk
What are your favorite outdoor activities with your little ones? I’d love to add to our list of things we want to do this spring/summer outside as a family. I love seeing our little one explore and try new adventures!
