Thank you Tom’s of Maine for sponsoring this post.
As a photographer there are many many many times, in the back of my mind, if only I had ______. For my little personal crisis happening! You know the time when I thought I was going to die from thirst or starvation, hint of sarcasm, but snacks will never fail you. The time I realized we were in the woods taking pictures and I was allergic to something and I was sneezing my head off and needed tissues. The time I’m driving to my early morning sunrise session and realize I forgot to put on deodorant…hence I love the Lemon Grass Tom’s of Maine which is with me pretty much wherever I go!
On the flip side… there have been numerous times when dealing with clients at a photo shoot that I just wish I had “_____” (you fill in the blank!) because we had a little crisis happening. You know the button pops off, the snotty nose kiddo, the need to bribe or we just needed a bobby pin to tie back someones hair.
Why Tom’s of Maine? Because they are the #1 natural deodorant brand and besides I’m pretty picky about making sure the products we use have a simple ingredient list with items I can actually read! Did I mention I know it’s long lasting! It’s clinically proven, 24-hour odor protection using odor-fighting hops and only natural fragrances! I def. need this during some sessions! I mentioned I love the Lemon Grass but they offer many scents, including Lavender and Tea Tree. The entire line is free from aluminum, Yay!
and yes….
how about the time a button popped on my shirt and I needed a safety pin…last but not least the time I grabbed coffee on my way to a shoot and it dribbled down the front of my off white shirt- stain remover stick to the rescue!!!!!!!!!
We all have those moments, we’re human. I think you can learn to build your own personal emergency or crisis kit but yet we can learn from others experiences and try to avoid them too, right?!
