It’s summertime and here in the south, we are always loving a good cold afternoon snack! A new fun favorite is an Ice Cream Sandwich Cereal Bar! It looks complicated to make, but it’s really super easy! Yes, it takes a little time but not a whole lot of effort!  

Ice Cream Sandwich Recipe

Use the General Mills Treat Bar from Walmart—Cinnamon Toast Crunch™ Treat Bars, to be exact—along with ice cream and you’ve got it made! I loved finding these treat bars because it brought back some fun childhood memories! This cereal was my all-time favorite—so now, incorporating it into a yummy recipe was all the more fun! How to Make Ice Cream Sandwich These delicious treats are the perfect poolside snack, play date snack, or even a yummy dessert on a hot afternoon after some outside play. For my first attempt at these Ice Cream Sandwich Cereal Bars, I used the General Mills Cinnamon Toast Crunch™ Treat Bars—but on my next attempt, I definitely want to try this recipe using the other flavors as well.  When I was shopping at Walmart, I picked up everything I needed.Ice Cream Sandwich Cereal Ba

What you need to make the Ice Cream Sandwich Cereal Bar:

  • Cinnamon Toast Crunch™ Treat Bars (General Mills)
  • Melting Chocolate
  • Sprinkles
  • Vanilla Ice Cream

How to make the Ice Cream Sandwich Cereal Bar:

  1. Remove your cereal bar from the packaging.
  2. Melt your chocolate, according to your packaging.
  3. Dip the ends of your cereal bar into the melted chocolate.
  4. Add sprinkles while chocolate is melted.
  5. Pop these into the freezer for approx. 15-20 minutes.
  6. Remove from freezer, add a bit of ice cream to the bar and stack another bar on top.
  7. Stick back in the freezer for approx. 15-20 minutes.
  8. Your cool treat is now ready to eat!
  9. Enjoy!
