This past week we had our Sunday School class over for an end of the summer party and game night. To say we had a blast is an understatement! I hope they had as much fun as we did. We filled the night with games and of course yummy food!
One of the highlights was our special treat. An OREO® ice cream cake just kind of topped off the night in the midst of our laugher, silliness and craziness. Not to mention it’s July which means it’s National Ice Cream month so how could we pass up this National holiday and not celebrate it. Especially seeing that the mister is quite keen on ice cream! I Love Ice Cream Cakes showcases delicious frozen ice cream cakes for all occasions and summertime celebrations.
We played charades – the game of acting silly in front of everyone you know and becoming quite embarrassed. These kiddos were troopers and had a ball. I had more fun watching than they had playing, I think! Next up was googly eyes…it’s like the game of pictionary besides you have to wear these silly glasses that distort your view and draw with your left hand (if you are right handed, which they all were) and your drawings come out – well weird…believe it or not they were quite good at this game! They impressed me with their drawing skills…if it were up to me I can’t even draw with the correct hand with 20/20 vision!!!!!
It was one of the most stress free parties I’ve ever had or hosted thanks to I Love Ice Cream Cakes sponsoring this post.
