Sweet Sticky Baby Back Ribs Recipe
It’s that time of year when we fire up the grill and enjoy the summer evenings on the front porch as a family. Excited to share our favorite Sweet Sticky Baby Back Ribs Recipe. We are thankful to be sponsored on behalf of Smithfield to create an original recipe for our family grilling!
Let’s just say that grilling is super easy, not only because the natural ease of it, but also because my husband loves to grill – WIN for me! All I have to do is find the recipes, gather the ingredients and prep and he’ll do the rest! Plus it’s just a fun family activity because we are all together and I’m not alone in the kitchen…I like it as a family! Grilling is always super easy and this recipe can account for that too.
ORIGINAL recipe for grilling these amazing Smithfield Extra Tender Fresh Pork Back Ribs! What I was thrilled about was that this Smithfield line of all-natural, high-quality, premium fresh pork is 20% more tender than other leading brands of non-enhanced all-natural pork. I can truly attest to this after we tried these and grilled them ourselves!!
Yes!!!!!!!!
Wait….So at first I was stressed about it…but then I took a deep breath and realized this could be really fun. Here lately our family has been on an Orange Marmalade kick…so I was like hmmmmm lets incorporate that into this recipe… so I’ll take a bow and share my recipe.
Will you pinky promise to try it?
Ribs aren’t something we grill often but this recipe was a winner. We shared them with several friends and every single one of them commented about how tasty they were…*happy dance happening here*.

2 tsp. Coarse Salt
2 tsp. Smoked Paprika
1 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
Smithfield Extra Tender Fresh Pork Back Ribs
BBQ Sauce:
1/2 C. Orange Marmalade
2 C. BBQ Sauce
1 Tbsp. Honey
-Mix first 5 ingredients together to create your dry rub.
-Mix the last three ingredients together to create your BBQ sauce mix.
-Sprinkle/pat this dry rub on the front and back of your ribs. Don’t be afraid to “go heavy” on this dry rub.
-Wrap rib rack in aluminum foil and grill for 1 1/2 hours on 350. Flipping every 1/2 hour to create an evenly cooked rib.
-Once you have grilled for 1 1/2 hours unwrap the ribs from aluminum foil and spread the BBQ Sauce mix on the top of the ribs. I saved the remaining for us to dip our ribs/meat in while eating, if you wish!
-Grill for another 30 minutes for the BBQ sauce to warm up and get sticky!
Eat and lap them up with and be sure to have some wipes for your hands at the end of your meal!!!!
