Secrets to the best Creamy Crawfish Dip Recipe from a Louisiana cooking girl who knows the secrets to a great cajun appetizer.

It’s the end of the year, how is that possible?  Another year has come and gone which is really hard to believe.

Creamy Crawfish Dip Recipe

Although we are enjoying cooler weather and our winter fun we are also prepping for some fun bowl game festivities.  So if you’re entertaining, being the hostess with the mostess, or if you are headed to a friends house for a game day this Creamy Crawfish Dip is sure to be a winner!

It’s a super easy dish to make and a crowd pleaser!

This Crawfish dip is a favorite of ours and living very close to New Orleans we love all things seafood with a hint of spice.  Hence crawfish is always a hit in a dish for a game appetizer or party food!

I was able to pick up all of my ingredients at our local Walmart which is always a win for me, a one stop shop!

Creamy Crawfish Dip Recipe:

Ingredients:

4 TBSP Butter
1 bunch of green onions, chopped
5 TBSP flour
1 1/2 pints whipping cream
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp all purpose seasoning
2 cans RO*TEL® Original Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies
1/2 tsp hot sauce
6 oz grated American cheese
3 oz grated Swiss cheese
1 lb peeled crawfish tails

Saute onion and garlic in butter.
Add flour and stir for a few minutes.
Add cream, seasoning, hot sauce and cook for 5 minutes.
Stir in cheese, melt.
Add crawfish and cook for 10 minutes.

Serve with bread to dip.

It’s sure to be a WIN and the first gone from the table.

If you are looking for more game day recipe inspiration with RO*TEL be sure to check out their recipe page. Believe me I have combed this page and jotted down some new recipe inspiration for myself as well. Creamy Crawfish Dip Recipe

I used Tony’s seasoning (but you could use lawry’s too I’m sure) Tony’s is a cajun type seasoning.
