If you are like me, I like a little loving on every now and then.  Put yourself in that “someone” else’s shoes for a minute…they do too!!!!

photo client tips

1- Follow- up

Right before their session.  We mama’s get stressed out over out-fits, making sure kiddos are happy and the list goes on.  Sometimes the reassuring text/email to your client helps them know you are excited about their session and ready!

2- Presents

Who doesn’t like a present?  I know I do!  Surely you would say the same.  Although I can say I love giving them too and so seeing my little people light up with a gift to open, lights up their world.  Plus it’s a bribing tool, if needed, that is!

3- Follow- up AGAIN

After the session, whether it be a couple hours later with a text or the following morning via an email let them know you loved their session, their kids, them, their outfits and can’t wait to show off their pictures!

4- Sneak Peek

Of course ask them if they are ok with a sneak peek.  EVERYONE loves to see what their picture looks like after it’s been taken, right?  I know I do!  If they approve, show off one image the following day and tag them in their social media.  They love bragging about their session, plus their friends and family see it and see you! WIN-WIN

5- Go above and beyond!

If you tell your clients I’ll have these back to you in 10 days…really set your mark to be sooner, like 7 days.  If their package comes with 5 prints or digital images, consider letting them know how hard it is to choose just one and gift them a bonus one.  Who doesn’t like kindness?
