This post was sponsored Tai Pei, all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

It is no secret that I’m a SAHM (stay at home mom), but I also work from home.  I could consider myself a WAHM (Work at home mom) but my first priority is my family so I like the jingle of being a SAHM.

Some days it’s hard juggling it all.

Balancing it all.

There are some days I just can’t and something has to give.

Yet…

There are deadlines written on the calendar.

There are to-do lists that keep growing.

There is a toddler that wants to read a book.

There are dishes to be washed and clothes to be folded.

There is a husband coming home from a long day at work and I need to prep a yummy supper.

Life can be demanding at times.

No matter what your “title” is…a Work from home mom, a stay at home mom or a mom working outside of the home…it’s all the life that has been given us and we are to embrace it and give ourselves grace.

Sometimes the giving ourselves grace part can be hard.  Why?  Because we are hard on ourselves, we are the ones that give ourselves a bar so high we can’t even obtain it.

I asked my husband the other day…when you come home from work what matters to you most?  A picked up home or a 4 course meal sitting on the table waiting for us to sit down and eat.  I really thought in my mind it was going to be the latter…I mean the way to a man’s heart is through food, right?  Nope.  He likes a home that is neat and orderly when he comes home, a place of comfort and peacefulness.  Don’t get me wrong I strive to do both, but sometimes on those days I need to give myself an extra ounce of grace…I make sure the house is picked up and we maybe eating something easy and quick…and that’s ok!

There are nights that easy meals are needed and my family loves Chinese food…so Tai Pei is a great solution!
