Our Sloppy Joe Casserole Recipe with biscuits is the best comfort food. Instead of a sloppy joe casserole with tater tots add a biscuit!

Comfort food of all comfort foods, right?  Does it get much better than Sloppy Joe’s transformed into a casserole.  Maybe we should call this “unsloppy” joe casserole!
Not to mention I’m always game for an easy go to meal on my meal plan rotation.
During the fall and winter months, when the time has changed and our evening light is shorter, I find myself cooking a warmer comfort food type supper…or dinner, but here in the deep south we call it supper!  With our busy lifestyle I really love easy meals so it takes less time in the kitchen allowing me more time to spend with the family.
So if you’re like us and like down home comfort food cooking, this one’s for you!  I used a new product from –>
Immaculate Baking where they  create wholesome baking products – many of which are certified gluten-free or organic.  We found these at Whole Foods in our area and had to try them on this casserole.

Sloppy Joe Casserole Recipe

Sloppy Joe Casserole
1 lb ground meat – skillet cook and drained
1 1/2 c. BBQ sauce
1/2 onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 c. grated Cheddar Cheese
1 can of Immaculate Baking

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. In a skillet cook ground beef and diced onion on medium heat.  Cook ground beef until fully brown, drain.
  3. Place in a bowl and mix in BBQ sauce, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Place your sloppy joe mix into a casserole dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese and top with Immaculate Baking Flaky Biscuits.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until your Immaculate Baking Flaky Biscuits are browned on top.

Serve with corn and a side salad, or even french fries or any veggie that you are craving.

PS I have made this a freezer meal as well, I add on the biscuits the evening I’m ready to cook it.  It works GREAT!Sloppy Joe Casserole Recipe
