As we are approaching the cold and flu season not only am I prepping our own home with these get well items but I like to have these on hand for a sweet friend or family member that’s down sick too.  I usually text them and drop a little happy at their front door and leave!  We can visit another time, right?!  In the meantime whether a child or adult that is sick it’s always nice to have a little pick-me-upper that will get you through the sick days and boring days of staying inside and laying around.

DIY Get Well Basket

My husband introduced me to teas when we got married.  I am the coffee drinker but he loves tea so we quickly stocked up!  Thanks to Bigelow Tea and Walmart our our kitchen cabinet is stocked with various Bigelow Tea!

Thoughts on making your Get Well Basket or Bag eye appealing!

  • Start with the larger items in the back
  • Keep the smaller items to the front
  • Keep the colors bright and cheerful
  • Add a personalized tag to the basket/bag–> 3 FREE printables HERE!  (feminine, kids and gender neutral)
  • Chalkboard Mugs- I like to pick up the mugs that have the chalkboard spot on them so I can write a sweet and personal message!  this is a lot of fun, plus they can use it later and have their own variation to it!
