As summer time is quickly approaching, I’ve already bought our SwimWays Paw Patrol Swim Trainer (from Walmart) plus signed up our Miss E for swim lessons.  If there is one thing I can encourage parents to do for their child more than anything is to help your children have confidence around water!  There are several ways to boost their confidence and I’m here to share those ways with you today.  I’m sharing from our personal experience as we celebrate International Learn to Swim Day on May 18, 2019! learn to swim

Through these steps that I’m sharing today our little one has confidence, loves the water and isn’t scared…which to me are all a win when it comes to your child being around water.  There is a difference in training your child around water to build confidence and also obedience when it comes to being around water.  Swim Ways

How To Build Self- Confidence In Your Child Learning to Swim

1- Get them IN and around water at the earliest age possible!

2- Invest in SwimWays as they are an industry leader in helping children learn to swim and promoting water safety.  Having the right tools will build confidence in your child – I can’t shout this from the mountain tops enough!  Seeing our little one all over the pool with her Paw Patrol Swim Trainer was a joy to this mama’s heart.  Honestly I didn’t feel the need to get in with her every single time she wanted to go swimming…which honestly is nice too.  Teach your Child to Swim

3- Educate yourself and your little one.  National Learn to Swim Day was founded by SwimWays in 2012 and is dedicated to educating parents and children about water safety and the benefits of learning how to swim.

The Paw Patrol Swim Trainer (from Walmart) is Swim Step 2 in the SwimWays Swim Step Program.  We’ve used their other products in our little ones younger years as well!  Nothing but GOOD to say about these products.  Swim Safety for Children Self- Confidence In Your Child Learning to Swim

Having your child develop a love for the water and swim at a very early age will boost their confidence in many areas of life, not only in or around the water, but in many facets.

Happy International Learn to Swim Day!  How will you and your family celebrate this exciting day?Self- Confidence In Your Child Learning to Swim
