This post was sponsored by Trip Advisor and all opinions expressed in my post are my own. We had a grand time exploring Downtown Nashville Tennessee and so I’m sharing our favorite Family Friendly Things to do in Downtown Nashville. Traveling with a toddler and kids in Nashville was super easy and enjoyable along with many free activities and indoor activities.
Family Friendly Things to do in Downtown Nashville
If you’ve been around our little family for any length of time you know we have the travel bug- BAD! We are always talking about where we want to adventure and where we want to go next. One can dream, right?
1 – Hop on and Off Trolley – When we travel we always check out TripAdvisor for attractions and activities available that might appeal to our family. We had a blast touring downtown Nashville with the Hop and Stop Trolley. This was the absolute best way for us to see the city with a toddler! You can hop on and off at any stop and another trolley is likely to come through about every 30 minutes so you aren’t stuck in one location long at all if you don’t want to be. Hands down this was a favorite part of our downtown Nashville adventure.
We snagged the deal that let us use our pass for two days…life-saver!!!! So for the same cost we had our passes for two days vs. one and could spread out the sight-seeing and not wear my little one out! This is also a plus if you plan to do a lot of the museums or music spots.
You can plan your day according to their stops found here.
With TripAdvisor it gives the ability to book attractions, tours and experiences. Helping us read reviews, snag tickets ahead of time and avoid long lines as well. TripAdvisor is the world’s largest provider of tours, activities and
attractions, with more than 56,000 bookable experiences in 2,500 destinations worldwide.
TripAdvisor Attractions offers something for every kind of traveler; book everything from walking
tours, skip-the- line access and theatre tickets to hot air balloon safaris and Everest base camp treks.
2 – Eat out! I know it goes without saying but plan to eat out – most any place you find will be great food but if you are in downtown plan on Acme Feed and Seed for a great view and great food.
Walk a block down and find the Goo Goo Cluster store and treat yo-self to some dessert!
3- Visit Broadway and walk in and out of some great shops.
4- Let the kids get their energy out at the Parthenon and Centennial Park!
5- Take pictures by the iconic walls (you’ll see them all around town and the surrounding areas of Nashville!)
