5 Surprises We Pack in our Toddler Diaper Bag

Hey Mama’s…
We all know that diaper bags aren’t our best friends…well let me speak for myself, at least mines not!  I can never keep them organized, I end up carrying our whole house in the bag and to top it off it seems I never have what we need.  Am I speaking your language too?

I’ve been through a few diaper bags and I finally took the plunge and ordered this bag –> Petunia Picklebottom Tote from Baby Cubby…one I loved the simplicity of the looks and two it had what I felt like was some practical organization to it!
Baby Cubby can be your one stop shop mama!  They’ll price match (even amazon!), free shipping over orders that are $49 AND they only carry the best of the best…so you don’t have to worry about ordering something that isn’t safe or practical, I promise!

So after it arrived…I was right…it’s the perfect size and feel for us at this toddler stage, that’s for sure.  It has enough pockets for what I need and it keeps it organized.  Yet I feel like it will be so versatile and with be what I need for the splash pad this summer or our day trips to play dates etc.

As a toddler mama I’ve learned to pack essentials ie. diapers, wipes, extra outfit and water bottle…and that’s it…PLUS we add a few surprises to combat the toddler tantrums when we’re out!
  1. Fun Snacks
  2. Box Drink
  3. Her Favorite Book
  4. A favorite toy
  5. Chocolate for me!

I found that if I keep special snacks and box drinks (which we don’t do at home) it’s a life saver when out and about because it’s special.  She loves to read so having a book is always a plus on our list and she loves to color/draw and we don’t do that much at home so that it keeps it special when we’re out.

Did you catch #5?!?  Yep mommy sanity right there!

PS what can you add to my bag?

A special thanks to Baby Cubby for providing the diaper bag for our little E and I to use and review.
