Thank you Idahoan® Steakhouse® Soups for sponsoring this post. Treat your SOUP-er significant other to a delicious meal!

Life gets busy and we have to remind ourself to set time aside for specific family time.  Specific family time that we are intentional with our time together, making it true quality time.  We do a lot as a family…but we still have to be intentional to set aside distractions, clear our calendar and do something that is fun and quality time together.

I want to share a few of our recent favorites…as mom I always plan a very simple meal so that I’m not slaving in the kitchen with prep time or clean up time either!   Since we have been in the winter months, our favorite is soup…and our favorite treat for a soup has been the Idahoan® Steakhouse® Soups.  They give you the flavorful, slow-cooked taste of restaurant-quality soup at home, in just five minutes.  Did you catch that – 5 minutes!   Our favorite is the Loaded Potato served with a hot sandwich…but they have four delicious varieties all together… the Loaded Potato, Creamy Potato, Cheddar Broccoli and Cheddar Potato.  We haven’t had one we didn’t like!

Family Game Night – pull out your favorite game and have a good time full of laughs and giggles.

Watch a Family Movie – snag an oldie but a goodie or even venture out to watch a new movie that no one in the family has seen!

Cook a Favorite Dessert Together – who doesn’t love dessert?  After our quick meal it’s sometimes fun to bake together.

Craft – My little one loves crafting, so we’ve even had a time or two where we’ll pull out our supplies and get creative.  It’s kind of fun seeing what everyone comes up with!

Puppet Show or Put on a Show – Growing up one of my fondest memories is my siblings and I making puppets, creating a puppet stage and practicing a show for my parents!  If it wasn’t a puppet show, we were dressing up and acting out a story.
