We just celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary and while I really don’t know where four years has gone, part of me feels like we’ve been together forever. I guess that’s the love and friendship that deepens day in and day out and makes this journey together even sweeter.
We enjoyed dinner out together (sans little one) and we went back to a favorite spot, which is where we had our wedding reception too!
Part of making our story so unique is that I’m from Mississippi and he’s from Maine…a vast difference there. Yet God saw fit to put us together and make our story one that brings Him honor and glory. We still love our story and talk about it often. I snagged these awesome prints about six months ago and have yet to do anything with them in our home. Thanks to the awesome service of Framebridge I was able to send them my prints to have them framed -without even leaving my house – what could be better than that?

We decided on our first anniversary to follow the traditional gift giving that goes with wedding anniversaries.
For the most part it has been easy although there has been a year or two where it seems like an awful lot of thought has to go into the gift to follow the traditional gift for that specific year. The fourth year is flowers and fruit…since we are trying to get our property looking better bit by bit we decided to go to the local feed and seed store and pick out a fruit tree together. We chose a fig tree – now to cross our fingers that we can keep it alive and thriving!
