STEAM Activities for Preschoolers
Here in our household I really try to get our activities to be centered around at least two of the areas in the word STEAM. Pairing at least two into an activity strengthens the idea behind STEAM activities.\
What are STEAM Activities?
Well that’s a VERY good question and so…
I’ve written an entire article on the topic of STEAM preschool activities if you are interested –> tap the picture below:
There are SO many resources at our fingertips in the day in age we live in, to gather information, educate ourselves and find preschool activities already planned out for us to do.
Remember the process of STEAM and the why. Don’t get caught up in the perfect activity or outcome, that’s not really what it’s all about…we learn by doing and making mistakes and so do our children! Just know that incorporating STEAM into early education for our little tots is so vital.
What is STEAM in Early Childhood Education?
STEAM for Early Childhood education is where educators are aware that the focus of education is shifting to the skills embedded in STEAM—science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math.

We are a husband and wife team, pairing our strengths together to teach our preschooler in the most fun and engaging way we possibly can. The mister is a high school educator at Northlake Christian school in Covington Louisiana and over the Innovation Center, which is all things STEAM. I am a SAHM that blogs pretty much everything we do in our little paradise, from what we eat, to where we travel to how we teach our little one. We hope you are inspired to incorporate STEAM into learning with your children.
