Whether you are a photographer or someone who simply enjoys taking pictures, you probably have several photos sitting on your phone, camera, and computer. No judgement here – I’m certainly in that club!

1- Friends, it’s a new year, and that means it’s time to finally print those photos.

2- Think about how you used to look at your grandparents’ photo albums. Maybe the pictures had gotten a little torn, or discolored with age. Did the album creak a bit and smell of leather (or the plastic pages!) when you opened it? Were the pictures like some of my grandparents’, printed in a small format with funky borders? Whatever your experience, it’s likely something that brings back warm memories.

3- Now think about pictures you’ve taken, or been in. Will your children have to view your wedding photos from a folder on your laptop? To locate that special Christmas morning shot, will they have to scroll for several minutes through your Instagram feed? When we don’t print our memories, we aren’t able to use our senses (touch, for one) to connect more deeply to them, and in turn, can’t share that connection with our children and families. Though little luxuries like this can get pushed aside easily, let’s allow ourselves to indulge a little in 2016.

For the next few weeks, we will be sharing a variety of fresh ways to get those pictures off of your devices and into your hands. We have some fantastic companies and products to tell you about, and we are excited to do so. Stay tuned!
